To upload code to the Bulb Ramper Shield, you need to download the Arduino IDE. Go to arduino.cc and click on "Download"
Scroll down to where the download links are. Click the appropriate platform, and follow through with the save instructions.
Unzip the folder, and inside you will see an Arduino icon. You could make a shortcut for this if you want.
The IDE will open. At first glance it will look like a simple word processor. Click File, Open, then find the JSR_Bulb_Ramper_Shield.ino file that you downloaded. You will get a message, click OK.
Make sure "Arduino Uno" is set in the Boards menu.
With your Arduino plugged into your computer, you should have at least one selection in the "Serial Port" menu. Make sure the correct one is selected.
Click the Upload button. It will take a couple minutes.
When it is done, it will say "Done Uploading".
Your Bulb Ramper Shield is now ready to use!
